G recognizes the paramount importance of addressing the urgent demand for long-term care bed capacity in urban centres.

With a significant portion of the Canadian population aging and requiring care, there is a pressing need to expand access to long-term care and provide buildings that can accommodate the changing needs of the next generation of residents.

Our aging population brings with it unique challenges that require innovative solutions that will prioritize comfort, accessibility, and quality of life for our elders, and the people who care for them.

  • Recent Accomplishments

    In 2023, G led over 1,300 long-term care beds through the Ministry’s time-limited enhanced funding program, resulting in 7 new LTC Homes beginning construction across Ontario.

  • Recent Accomplishments

    In 2023, G completed the first-ever phased redevelopment of a Long-Term Care Home in-situ in the province of Ontario, in Long-Sault.

  • Recent Accomplishments

    In 2021, G was an integral part of Infrastructure Ontario and the Ministry of Long-Term Care’s rapid-build program, which saw a 320-bed home designed, approved, built, and operationalized in just 13 months on a constrained site in Ajax.
