Ivan Franko Long-Term Care Home

The new Ivan Franko Home will be a state-of-the-art, 160-bed home specifically designed to meet the needs of the Ukrainian Canadian community. Located in the heart of Mississauga, the project also represents a key development of a long-term care home within the GTA, where long-term care bed capacity is badly needed, but land costs limit development.

G supported Ivan Franko in greatly accelerating the design and approval schedule to take advantage of the Province of Ontario's time-limited enhanced long-term care funding policy.

The project includes a specialized 32-bed unit for residents with greater need and cognitive impairment.

Construction for the Ivan Franko Long-Term Care Home commenced in October 2023.
